Acts 28 Paul

.30But he remained a whole two-years in (his) own hired-house, and he accepted all the (people) journeying towards him, .31heralding-forth the kingdom of God and teaching the-things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, un-hindered.

Paul stayed in Rome for the space of 2 entire years living in his own hired house (lodgings). He rented this dwelling, and he either worked to receive money for the house-payment or the other holy-people gave money to him in order to pay the rent – perhaps it was a combination of both. The great benefit of Paul continuing in his own hired house was that…

·         he was accepting (repeatedly during that time he used to fully welcome with open arms, willingly receive / take to himself) all the people who were journeying from everywhere to him into his hired house in Rome,

·         heralding-forth the kingdom of God (proclaiming God's kingdom, all that is contained within God's sovereignty, His kingly or royal dominion and government and rule and territory and power, etc, which of course is holy and spiritual because God is Holy Spirit)

·         and teaching the things (giving instructions) about the Lord Jesus Christ (Jesus who is the Master and the Messiah)

o   with all boldness (in company and association with every freedom, frankness and openness of speech),

§  un-hindered (without anyone preventing, blocking him).

No-one was able to cut him short from what he was doing during these two years in Rome – around 61-63 A.D. It was during this time that the Apostle Paul may have written the letters (epistles) of Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon.
This most certainly was a triumph!
