Romans chapter 8


The apostle Paul ends "chapter 7" with: "I (am a) distressed man! Who will rescue me out-from this body of death? But thanks to God by means of Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore consequently I myself indeed with the mind serve-as-a-slave to (the) law of God – but with the flesh to (the) law of sin."

Romans 8:1 and 2:

8:1Consequently now (there is) not-one condemning-sentence to the (people) in Christ Jesus, .2for the law of the spirit of the life in Christ Jesus freed you away-from the law of the sin and the death.

In correspondence to what is previously written in this letter, at the present time there is…

·         not-one condemning-sentence (none, not-any sentence pronounced against, no decision made or brought down in judgment)

o   to/against the people who are in Christ Jesus (within the cause and sphere of action, character, and attributes of Christ Jesus – all holy-people are limbs of the one spiritual body of Christ, similar to an eye or arm or leg being in the physical body; we are living to God in Christ Jesus and therefore in the spirit category we live within everything he is now),

…for (in truth)…

·         the law of (pertaining to)

·         the spirit of the life in Christ Jesus (the newness of life, the holy spirit-life, the inside man, the spirit of Christ that provides the eternal life; the law that is now in force and operational among all the holy-people being administered within the sphere of action of Christ Jesus; refer to Romans 7:6 and 22)

o   freed you (set each one of you individually at-liberty, liberated you [some Greek texts have the word "me" whereby Paul again uses himself as an example for all holy-people])

o   away from

·         the law of the sin and the death (the law that is in force and operational in the fleshy body; refer to Romans 7:23 and 24).

The law of the sin and the death is not referring to the law of Moses itself. Paul has already written that the law of Moses indeed is holy and the commandment contained in that law is holy and righteous and good (refer to Romans 7:11 and 12).

But the law of the sin and the death is referring to the law being administered by the devil/satan via the flesh – sin against the only true God and therefore it will result in complete death.

Genesis chapter 8 - Noah exits the ark


Verses 14-19:

.14But in the month, the second (month), seventh and twentieth (day) of the month, the earth was dried; .15and the Lord God said to Noah saying,

.16You must go-out from the ark, you and your wife and your sons and the wives of your sons with you; .17and all the wild-animals as-many-as are with you and all flesh from birds until animals and every creeping-thing moving-itself on the earth you must lead-out with yourself; and you must increase-yourselves and be multiplied on the earth.”

.18And Noah went-out and his wife and his sons and the wives of his sons with him .19and all the wild-animals and all the animals and every bird and every creeping-thing moving-itself on the earth; according to their genus they went-out from the ark.

Genesis 11 Babylon Babel


.5And (the) Lord descended to see the city and the tower which the sons of men built; .6and (the) Lord said, “Look!, one genus and one lip of all-people and this they began to make; and now it will not fail from them all as-many-things-as ever they may put-on to make. .7Come-this-way; even having descended let Us confuse there their tongue in order that they may not hear, each the sound of the neighbor.”

.8And (the) Lord scattered them throughout from-there on (the) face of all the earth and they stopped building the city and the tower.

.9Because-of-this the name of it was called Confusion because there (the) Lord confused the lips of all the earth and from-there the Lord God scattered them throughout on (the) face of all the earth.

These verses give God’s explanation of the meaning of what the city was called, even though the people may have understood that name to mean: the gate/court of God.

Human-beings could not understand all of the other human-beings when they spoke from that time forward. The family group spoke among themselves but division of languages caused one group not to understand another group. This was unlike the animals or birds who continued to understand each other within the same genus or species.

Today, which is after the Lord Jesus Christ poured-out the gift of holy spirit on the day of Pentecost recorded in Acts chapter 2, holy-people (true Christians having received the gift of holy spirit) can speak with tongues. We also do not understand the words that we speak in a tongue but we can express agreement with the Christ regarding God’s name by the fruit of our lips, plus interpretation of those tongues is available in certain situations.

Genesis chapter 6


Genesis 5:28-32 records that when Noah was born his father said that he would give rest to God’s people; and then at the age of five-hundred years Noah begat three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Genesis 6:1-8 summarize what had happened to mankind after Adam and Eve were expelled from the paradise of Eden (refer to Genesis 3:23 and 24).

Genesis 6:1 and 2:

6:1And it came-to-pass when the men began to become many on the earth and daughters were caused-to-become to them, .2but having seen the daughters of the men that they are beautiful, the sons of God took to themselves women from all whom they selected-for-themselves.

Noah and the Rainbow covenant

Genesis chapter 11:
My bow I put in the cloud (I set, in the sense of giving a place to/for the arch originating from and belonging to Me within the cloud; referring to a rainbow) and it will be into the sign of the covenant up-among the midst of Me and the earth (including its inhabitants)…

·         and it will be in Me clouding-together clouds (during the time that I collect clouds, causing them to be in the state of being in conjunction with each other; the repetition of the root-word “cloud” gives emphasis)

·         on/over the earth

o   My bow will be seen in the cloud (it will be presented in the indefinite cloudy mass so as to be perceived with the eyes and known by all),

·         and I will be caused-to-remember My covenant (I will be reminded of, call to My mind, recollect My binding agreement)

o   which is up-among the midst of Me and you and up-among the midst of every living soul (as verse 12 above)

o   in all flesh (every individual among human-beings, animals, etc)

·         and there will not still be the water into a flood (water with a view to, directed to, for a cataclysmic deluge, the inundation of water [in Hebrew the word “water” is always in the plural form – waters])

o   so-as to wipe-out all flesh (so that the consequence and result would be to cause the state of being erased, blotted-out, smeared and completely-obliterated for every fleshy creature);

…emphatically to the degree and in explanation that My bow will be in the cloud (as verse 14 above)…

·         and I will see (perceive it with My eyes)

·         to be caused-to-remember (to be reminded of, call to My mind, recollect)

o   the agelong covenant (the time-period of the binding agreement which will last for an age, the limited lifetime duration of this covenant; as verse 12 the word "agelong" is the Greek word aionios and may be translated “eternal” or “agelong” depending on the context, and here it refers to the covenant that will be everlasting or eternal in the sense of it never changing once it begins but will end when its time ends, as recorded in Revelation chapters 21 and 22)

o   up-among the midst of Me [the Hebrew text has Elohim “God” instead of “Me”] and up-among the midst of all/every living soul in all flesh which is on the earth.”

Second Peter chapter 2


2:1But lying-prophets also came-to-pass among the people, as also lying-teachers will be among you, the-people-who will lead-in-beside (you) sects of destruction, and denying the Master having bought them, leading quick destruction on themselves;

 

.2and many-people will follow-out with their licentiousnesses, because-of whom the way of the truth will be blasphemed; .3and they will merchandize you in covetousness with molded words, to whom the judgment from-old is not workless and their destruction is not drowsy.

A "lying prophet" is a false prophet, one who claims to speak God's words being revealed to him/her concerning the past, present and/or future – but a lying prophet does not speak the only true God’s words to the people, instead he/she speaks lies, false statements. This is in contrast to the true prophets and their prophecies referred to in II Peter 1:20 and 21.

Continuing from the end of II Peter chapter 1, Peter writes:

But lying-prophets also came-to-pass (became, came to be) among the people (referring to the mass or group of people collectively as one unit)…

·         as also lying-teachers (people who falsely claim to teach/instruct with God's Word which would include what was prophesied by the true prophets – but these will be false teachers, instructors who speak falsities, lying about the true Word of God and teaching false statements)

·         will be among you (holy-people, Christians),

o   these lying teachers will lead-in-beside you (they will bring alongside you, even though what they bring into your company will not truly be part of your group; they will slip-by surreptitiously, stealthily, sneakily, but in fact they are against you) – what will they lead in beside you? – 

§  sects of destruction (heresies, choices, opinions or chosen-ways which are different to the traditional way of thinking, used here in the bad sense of choosing what is against God; these sects are described as pertaining to loss, perdition, being utterly lost and ruined away-from God),

·         and the lying teachers will be denying (disowning, negating, rejecting)

o   the Master (this word translated “Master” is despotes, not the Greek word kurios usually translated ‘lord’; “Master” means: the sovereign lord, the absolute-master, the despot, the one who has absolute dominion, supreme authority, and unlimited power; the word emphasizes subjection; here it is referring to the Lord Jesus Christ who is our Master; he is over his own slaves whereby his slaves figuratively have their feet bound in complete subjection to him in service during everyday living)

§  having bought them (as a person buys in a market-place – Jesus Christ paid the price which was himself; he shed his own blood for all, even those who refuse to believe what God says regarding Himself and His son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and thus refuse the salvation that is available to them),

·         leading quick (directing, conducting, conveying swift or speedy)

·         destruction on themselves;

…and a lot of people will follow-out (come after, go from everything that has happened)…

·         with/by their licentiousnesses (the debaucheries of the lying teachers who teach according to the lying prophets)

o   on account of whom the way of the truth (the progress, manner of action, method of proceeding pertaining to and consisting of the essential reality, the inherent verity of God and the things of God)

§  will be blasphemed (spoken evilly against, calumniated, treated with lack of Godly reverential respect);

·         and they will merchandize you (perform a traveling trade, drum up business, they will be in business, they will trade to carry-out deals as in an emporium – the object they import into their business and which they will trade will be you holy-people for their own gain)

o   in covetousness (within the cause and sphere of action of a constant wanting to have more than what God provides; it is greed, always grasping and reaching out to get something else more than what is right)

§  with molded words (words formed as from clay, as a potter makes his earthenware vessels, or as plastic molded into different shapes adaptable to their needs, and thus these words have no lasting value),

·         to whom the judgment from-old (the pronounced decision to/for/regarding people who behave in this manner, the sentence passed, the decision made or arrived-at issuing from the judging process, which occurred during a period of time that has now become old)

o   is not workless (idle, inactive – in other words, the judgment is working, it is effective and producing results)

·         and their destruction (loss, perdition, being utterly lost and ruined away-from God)

o   is not drowsy (torpid, dazed – in other words, the time of/for their destruction is alert and ready for the action of its implementation).

Matthew 14


Verses 34-36:

.34And having passed-through they went on the land into Gennesaret, .35and the adult-males of that place having fully-known him apostled into that whole country-around and carried-towards him all the (people) having badly, .36and they used-to-encourage him in order that only they may touch the border of his outer-garment, and as-many-as touched were throughly-saved.

When they had passed-through (went across the remaining portion of the sea) they went on the land into Gennesaret, which was on the coast of the Sea of Galilee south-west of Capernaum.

The adult-males (grown men) of that place (Gennesaret), having fully-known him (when they had a full, clear and exact personal knowledge regarding Jesus and his being in their area), apostled into that whole country-around (sent others forth/away on an assignment into the entire surrounding countryside) and they carried towards him all the people having badly (they brought or offered to Jesus all those who were holding something in their bodies and/or minds that was bad, contrary to what God would want them to have).

Also they used-to encourage him (they were exhorting Jesus, they spent time calling him beside them) for the purpose and result that only they would touch (apply themselves to) the border of his outer-garment.

The "border" refers to the edge or fringe of clothing, which was sometimes decorative and may indicate the person's status or profession. It could also refer to a little fringe, the appendages or tassels hanging from the edge of a cloak or mantle worn to remind people of the law that God gave to Moses (refer to Numbers 15:37-41; Deuteronomy 22:12). Jesus' border would have indicated that he was a holy man teaching God's Word to people.

As many people as touched the border of Jesus’ outer-garment were throughly-saved (made safe, brought safely through, brought to full safety through their bad sicknesses).

First Corinthians 13 God's kind of love


God's kind of love is patient, it is benevolent; God’s kind of love is not jealous, it does not vaunt itself, it does not puff itself up, it is not indecorous, it does not seek-after the-thing of itself, it is not sharpened, it does not calculate the bad-thing, it does not joy on the unrighteousness – but it joys-together with the truth, it protectively-covers all-things, it believes all-things, it hopes all-things, it patiently-endures all-things – relative to God and the things of God.

First Corinthians 4


Continuing on from chapter 3, Paul writes:

I Corinthians 4:1 and 2:

4:1Thus a man must calculate us as assistants of Christ and stewards of (the) mysteries of God; .2here from-now-on you must seek-after among the stewards in order that someone may be found believing.

In this manner any man (human-being) who is a holy-person must calculate us (any one of you should reckon, count, compute logically regarding myself and Apollos) as:

·         assistants of Christ (Christ's attendants serving in subservience to him; the word “assistants” literally means: under-rowers, ordinary sailors on a ship who are in subordination and act/serve under the immediate direction of their captain)

·         and stewards of God's mysteries (house-managers or administrators of God's household-matters pertaining to God’s purposes, plans, actions, etc, that He kept secret).

The word “mystery” throughout Paul’s letters means “secret.” A mystery contains the details that are known and can be understood by those involved in it and by those to whom it has been revealed – it is not inexplicable to those involved in it.

Paul continues: Here from now on (in this category regarding the rest, pertaining to the time remaining, henceforth)…

·         you must seek-after among the stewards (look for among the stewards, those whom you consider, or those who consider themselves, to be stewards)

o   for the purpose and result that

o   someone (any one) among these stewards would be found believing (adjectively described as being faithful, having active belief/faith, trusting what God and the Lord Jesus Christ have given them to believe).

The criteria for a person to be an assistant of Christ and a steward of God's mysteries is that he/she believes what God and the Lord Jesus Christ say and then he/she carries it out accordingly. If someone would claim to be an assistant of Christ and steward of the mysteries of God but does not believe and act accordingly, then this person is not a steward – and consequently this person is not to be believed.

Paul is continuing to teach that it is God and the things of God that are important, that God and the Lord Jesus Christ are whom they ought to believe and obey – all of the assistants of Christ and stewards of God's mysteries should function correctly by believing the information that God makes known to people to have confidence-in with assured certainty and surety.

Acts chapter 2


Verses 22-24:

.22Adult-males, Israelites, you must hear these words - Jesus the Nazarene, an adult-male having been pointed-out2 from God into you with abilities and wonders and signs which God did by means of him in your midst according as you yourselves knew2, .23this-person - given by the deliberate-determination and foreknowledge of God having been marked-out-definitely2 - you eliminated by means of (the) hand of lawless-people having affixed (him), .24whom God resurrected having loosened the pangs of death as-because it was not able (for) him to be strongly-held by it,

Peter continues by reminding these people that they were grown-men, and this time he also calls them "Israelites" and thus includes every one of them no matter what part of Israel they may have originally come from. They were to listen to the words he was speaking.

·         “Adult-males, Israelites, you must hear these words – Jesus the Nazarene (Jesus was brought up in Nazareth and called ‘the Nazarene’ even though he was born in Bethlehem),

·         an adult-male (grown man) having been pointed-out and continuing pointed-out from God (demonstrated, exhibited, indicated as pointing-out with God's finger and so made public by God) into (with a view to, directed to) you

o   with abilities (able-powers, capabilities) and wonders (supernatural occurrences) and signs (designated standards or signals showing authenticity)

o   which God did by means of him in your midst (God performed these things through him during his ministry among you) according as you yourselves knew and continue to know (perceive, see to the end of perceiving and knowing with your minds),

…this-person…

·         given by the deliberate-determination and foreknowledge of God (God’s purposed will and advance knowledge)

o   which had been marked out definitely and they remained marked out definitely (the boundary was set by God, the limited-area, the horizon, the boundary separated off) –

…you eliminated (you put him out of your way by killing him) by means of the hand of lawless-people having affixed him (you used the authority and power of those people who do not abide-by nor do they want to abide-by God's law; in this context referring to Roman Gentiles, and they fastened this man to the wooden-stake on which he died)…

·         whom God resurrected (God caused him to stand-up alive) having loosened the pangs of death from him (death being likened to the throes of a woman in labor who cannot stop it nor escape from it; God released Jesus from death’s hold setting him free from it)

·         as-because it was not able (possible) for him to be strongly-held by it (to be held by the forceful strength exerted by death).

The devil's death-power (refer to Hebrews 2:14) was not powerful enough against God's resurrection-power and so God was able to raise Jesus Christ up alive from among the rest of the dead-people!

John 20 - resurrection of Jesus


20:1But on (day-)one of the sabbaths Mary the Magdalene goes early, (during) darkness yet being, into the memorial-place and she observes the stone having been lifted2 out-from the memorial-place. .2Therefore she runs and goes towards Simon Peter and towards the other learning-disciple whom Jesus loved, and she says to them, "They lifted the Lord out-from the memorial-place and we did not know2 where they put him!"

.3Therefore Peter went-out and the other learning-disciple, and they went into the memorial-place, .4but the two ran together and the other learning-disciple ran-before quickly of Peter and came first into the memorial-place, .5and having bent-alongside he observes the little-linen-cloths lying, yet-indeed he did not go-into (it). .6Therefore also Simon Peter comes following him and went into the memorial-place and views-with-attention the little-linen-cloths lying .7and the handkerchief which was on his head not lying with the little-linen-cloths but without (them) having been wrapped2 into one place.

.8Therefore then also the other learning-disciple, the (learning-disciple) having come first, went into the memorial-place and he saw and believed; .9for not-yet they had known the writing that it is necessary (for) him to be resurrected out-from dead-people. .10Therefore the learning-disciples went-away again towards them.

Matthew 26


Verses 57-68:

.57But the (people) having strongly-held Jesus led (him) away towards Caiaphas the chief-priest where the scribes and the elders were gathered-together.

 

.58But Peter used-to-follow him from a distance until the uncovered-area of the chief-priest and having gone inside he used-to sit-down with the assistants to see the completion.

 

.59But the chief-priests and the whole council used-to seek-after lying-witness against Jesus so-that they may put him to-death .60and they did not find, many lying-witnesses having come-towards (them). But afterwards two having come-towards (them) .61said, “This-person said, ‘I am able to disunite the interior-temple of God and by means of three days to build.’” .62And the chief-priest having stood-up said to him, “Do you answer nothing? What do these-people witness-against you?”

 

.63But Jesus used-to be-silent. And the chief-priest said to him, “I adjure you down-on God, the living (God), in order that you may say to us if you are the Christ the son of God!” .64Jesus says to him, “You said; besides I say to you, from now you will see ‘the son of man sitting-down out-from (the) right-sides’ of the ability and ‘coming on the clouds of heaven.’” .65Then the chief-priest throughly-tore his outer-garments saying, “He blasphemed; why yet do we have need of witnesses? Here now you heard the blasphemy; .66what is considered by you?” And the (people) having answered said, “He is liable of death.”

 

.67Then they spit into his face and buffeted him, and the (people) rapped (him) .68saying, “You must prophesy to us, Christ, who is the (person) having hit you?”

Those who strongly-held Jesus led (directed, conducted, conveyed) him away towards Caiaphas the chief/high priest where the scribes and the elders were gathered-together (assembled).

We should understand that not everything that Jesus said or did is recorded in Matthew (or Mark, or Luke, or John) and in John we get more details telling us that they first took Jesus to Annas the former chief-priest and a little later Annas sent him to Caiaphas his son-in-law living in a different area of the same palace (refer to John 18:13, 14, and 24). These events would have taken time and were all happening during the evening and nighttime of 13th Nisan and then approaching the morning of 13th Nisan.

But Peter was following Jesus from a distance (a long way away, from afar) until the uncovered-area of the chief-priest (refer to verse 3 above) and he went inside and was sitting down with the assistants (attendants, those who served by attending in subservience to Caiaphas’ will) to see the completion (to perceive, know the ending-issue of what would happen to Jesus).

The chief-priests and the whole council (the Sanhedrin, the entire supreme council of the Judean/Israeli nation composed of 70 members, besides the chief/high priest(s), which were selected from former chief/high priests and the heads of the 24 courses of priests)…

·         were continuing to seek-after lying-witness against Jesus (to look for false testimony, the substance being lying information, the action of bearing false witness, false knowledge regarding that-which is attested to, in this case they wanted it against Jesus)

·         in such a manner that they would put him to death (cause him to die by others)

…and they did not find what they needed after a lot of false witnesses had come towards them giving their own testimonies, but the content of the witness given varied from each other. They needed two people to give the same testimony. After all those things happened two witnesses came towards them and said, “This-person said (brought to light by saying)…

·         ‘I am able to disunite the interior-temple of God (I am capable, I have the ability, the able-power to disintegrate, dissolve, dismember, loosen down the parts one from another of the innermost part of God’s temple)

·         and by means of three days to build (within an interval of 3 days to build it back up again).’”

o   [Prior to the time when Jesus accomplished salvation, the ‘interior-temple’ usually referred to the innermost-part of God's temple, the most sacred area within the temple in Jerusalem, where the only true God's presence was manifested-forth, called the "Holy of Holies." However, refer to John 2:19-22.]

The chief-priest stood-up from sitting in judgment and said to Jesus, “Do you answer nothing (do you reply by saying nothing, are you not judicially replying to this by not speaking anything in response to what these two witnesses have said)? What do these-people witness against you (give an explanation of what these two attest against you, what they bear witness against you, attesting to the information and knowledge that they have and confirm on the strength of their own authority against you)?”

Mark 14:59 tells us that even the information regarding the same subject given by these two witnesses were not equal either. Jesus continued to be silent (quiet, he didn’t speak). And the chief-priest said to him…

·         “I adjure you down-on God, the living God, (I intensely put you under this oath of extraction, exorcise, cause you to be under the obligation of this oath, as forcing you to put your hand down under my thigh thereby sealing the oath to give-out from yourself what I tell you, by/with all the ability and authoritative-power of the God Who is being alive)

·         for the purpose and result that you would say to us if emphatically you presently and actively are the Christ (Messiah, Anointed-one) the son of God!”

An oath was used to prove something as being undeniable, like a fence that fences in what is spoken, a confinement, restraint or enclosure of a promise or declaration regarding what you will do or what is true, etc. Here Caiaphas was using his position being the chief-priest of Israel and the name of the living God, Who is Jesus’ Father, and so Jesus replies to this. Jesus says to him…

·         “Emphatically you said (I confirm that what you yourself said is correct and true);

·         besides (moreover, more/other than that) I say to you (all of you here), from now you will see ‘the son of man (away from this moment you will see the son of man, because the son of man will present himself to be perceived with your eyes and known by you)

·         sitting-down out-from the right-sides’ of the ability (sitting down in the judgment seat at the right-hand side of the only true able-power, referring to God’s ability) and ‘coming on the clouds of heaven’ (he will be coming on particular and distinct clouds of heaven from above the earth, not the indefinite cloudy masses that we see in the sky from time to time but specific clouds).”

When Jesus spoke this, those in the room were sitting in judgment of him who is the son of man – but he told them that in the future he will be doing the judging and they will see him, which refers here to the time when they will be resurrected and receive their right/just sentence for their actions.

Then the chief-priest throughly-tore his outer-garments…. He rent his outer garments asunder, in pieces, to demonstrate outwardly his inner anguish and grief at what was happening. These outer-garments refer to the mantles worn around the neck and/or the border of the robe which were a sign of his religious position and authority which the people who taught God's Word normally wore at that time. It was customary to wear these outer-garments to indicate to others that what they were doing and saying was in accordance with God (this, of course, was abused by some!).

The chief-priest throughly-tore his outer-garments saying, “He blasphemed (he spoke evilly, treated with lack of Godly reverential-respect, calumniated); why yet do we have need of witnesses (what additional necessity do we have of witnesses as though we lacked what we need for our use)? Here now at this present time you (all of you) heard the blasphemy; what is considered by you (what do you suppose)?”

And the people assembled there answering him said, “He is liable of death (he is held-in, made-subject to death which is the consequence of his blasphemy).” Then they spit into his face and buffeted Jesus (they struck him with clenched fists, knocked him about and roughly treated him with blows rained on him bruising and hurting him), and these ‘religious leaders’ rapped him (struck him with a quick sharp blow) saying, “You must prophesy to us, Christ (Messiah, Anointed-one), who is the person having hit you (who struck you)?”

To prophesy is to speak forth God's words being revealed to the one prophesying concerning the past, present or future, and here they demanded that Jesus prophesy about who had already hit him while his face was covered and he could not physically see his assailants.

Luke 23


Verses 13-25:

.13But Pilate having called-together the chief-priests and the rulers and the people .14said towards them, "You carried-towards me this man as turning-away the people; and look!, I - having judged-up before you - found not-one cause in this man of which-things you accuse against him - .15but neither Herod, for he sent him up towards us; and look!, there is nothing worthy of death having been practiced2 by him. .16Therefore having trained him I will loosen."

.18But they shouted-up all-the-multitude saying, "You must lift this (man) but you must loosen Barabbas to us" - .19the-one-who used-to-be having been thrown in the prison because-of some standing (of insurrection) and murder having become in the city. .20But again Pilate uttered-sounds-towards them intending to loosen Jesus. .21But the (people) used-to sound-on saying, "You must crucify, crucify him!" .22But the third-time he said towards them, "For what bad-thing did this (man) do? I found not-one cause of death in him; therefore having trained I will loosen him." .23But the (people) used-to lay-on great sounds asking him to be crucified and their sounds used-to be-fully-strong.

.24And Pilate judged-on their request to come-to-pass; .25and he loosened the (person) having been thrown2 into prison because-of a standing (of insurrection) and murder whom they used-to ask-for-themselves - but Jesus he gave-over to their intention.

First Corinthians 15

.50But this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit (the) kingdom of God, neither does corruption inherit incorruption.
.51Look! I say a mystery to you – we will not all be caused-to-sleep but we will all be changed:
.52in an atom, in a sinking of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it will trumpet and the dead-people will be raised-up incorruptible and we will be changed;
.53for it is necessary (for) this corruptible-thing to clothe-itself-with incorruption, and this mortal-thing to clothe-itself-with immortality,
.54but whenever this mortal-thing may clothe-itself-with immortality then the word, the (word) having been written2, will come-to-pass, "Death was swallowed into victory."
.55"Death – where (is) your victory? Death – where (is) your point?"
.56But the point of the death (is) the sin and the ability of the sin (is) the law.
.57But thanks to God, the (One) giving to us the victory by means of our Lord Jesus Christ, .58so-that, my loved1 brothers, you must become seated, un-removed, always exceeding in the work of the Lord, having known2 that your labor is not empty in (the) Lord.
