Mark 11:22 - belief from God

.22And having answered Jesus says to them, "You must have belief of God.

God gives people His belief when He tells people what they should believe. We can rely on what God tells us concerning a specific situation or circumstance.

Once God communicates His belief to us, then we are given the opportunity to have the same belief regarding that specific situation or circumstance – by believing (having faith-in, trusting) the contents of what God says, His words to us. We should accept His belief being true to and for ourselves. God’s belief is not dependent upon whether a person believes it or not.

God communicates His belief to people in many different ways, for example: audibly for people to hear His voice speaking words, or God writes it down as He did for Moses in stone so people could read what He wrote, or via one of His angels speaking God's words, or via the spirit that God gives to His people which communicates the information to their minds, or via His previously revealed Word passed along from generation to generation by word of mouth or by writing it down, etc.

Once God reveals His belief to a person, then that person might tell others this belief so that they can hear it also.

Revelation 22:16

The resurrected Lord Jesus Christ says:

.16"I Jesus sent my angel to witness these-things to you, on the churches. I am the root and the genus of David - the star, the shining (star), the early (star)."

John writes these words that he hears – the Lord Jesus Christ says:

·         "Emphatically I Jesus sent (in Greek there is a definite word for “I” plus the name “Jesus” plus the verb meaning “I sent” giving great emphasis – I emphatically myself Jesus sent)

o    my angel (refer to Revelation 1:2)

§  to witness (to attest with information, to give the declaration of knowledge that my angel personally has and therefore can state and confirm it on the strength of his own authority) – to witness what? –

§  these-things (the revelation of events, etc, pertaining to and proceeding from me; refer to Revelation 1:1 and 2)

§  to you (plural pronoun – all of you),

§  emphatically on the churches (based upon and with regard to the churches; the motivating purpose or object for witnessing these things being the assemblies of people; Jesus sent his angel to witness this revelation to John so that John would then witness this revelation to the churches; refer to Revelation 1:4, 11 and 20, plus chapters 2 and 3).

·         Emphatically I am (in Greek there is a definite word for “I” plus the verb meaning “I am” giving emphasis – I myself am)

o    the root (the word "root" is used like a tree’s root relative to the tree itself and the nourishment that the root provides to produce fruit – here the Lord Jesus Christ calls himself the root in the figurative sense)

o    and the genus (the decent, kind, race, class, sort of being, lineage)

§  of David (King David was the first king whom God chose and anointed to rule over God's people; refer to Revelation 5:5) -

o    the star,

§  emphatically and specifically

§  the shining star (figuratively I am a star that is bright, brilliant, radiant, beaming-light),

§  the early star (figuratively I am the star that shines early in the morning, signifying the beginning of the new day for mankind; refer to Revelation 21:23)."

John 20:11-18 - Mary the Magdalene after Jesus' resurrection

.11But Mary had stood towards the memorial-place outside crying, therefore as she cried she bent-alongside into the memorial-place, .12and views-with-attention two angels in white (outer-garments) sitting-down, one towards the head and one towards the feet where the body of Jesus used-to-lie.
.13And those say to her, "Woman, why do you cry?"
She says to them that, "They lifted my lord and I did not know2 where they put him."
.14Having said these-things she was turned into the-things behind and views-with-attention Jesus having stood2 and she had not known that he is Jesus.
.15Jesus says to her, "Woman, why do you cry? Whom do you seek-after?"
That-person considering that he is the gardener says to him, "Lord, if you lifted him up you must say to me where you put him and I will lift him."
.16Jesus says to her, "Mary." Having turned that-person says to him in-Hebrew, "Rabboni" - which is said (as) Teacher.
.17Jesus says to her, "You must not touch me for I did not-yet ascend2 towards the Father; but you must journey towards my brothers and say to them, 'I ascend towards my Father and your Father, even my God and your God.'"
.18Mary the Magdalene goes announcing to the learning-disciples that, "I saw2 the Lord" and these-things he said to her.

Philippians 2:5 and 6

...for you must think this in you which (is) also in Christ Jesus, who being-from-the-beginning in (the) form of God did not lead (his mind to regard it as his) catch to be equals with God.

·         Christ Jesus did not lead his mind to regard it as his catch (Christ Jesus did not take the initiative, cause it to be in his mind to view it as being an object of seizure for him to carry-off for his own purposes, to have in his domain, something to be snatched and taken suddenly away as his booty, plunder, spoil, pillage, as his reward for victory in war)

o   to be equals with God (to exist being equals with God).

The word "equals" is in the plural form in the Greek texts and emphasizes total-equality. It denotes equal-things, being equally proportioned, equality in measure, quantity, quality, amount, number, etc.

Jesus did-not and still does-not regard that to be equals with God is something to be taken by him as booty, as though he were identical in value and in relation to/with God, as though he were the same entity, as though he also was a god and could take God's place! That idolatry is what the first man, Adam, grasped at attaining when he listened and believed and obeyed the lie of the serpent/devil trying to usurp the only true God’s position (refer to Genesis chapter 3).

Romans 8:28

...and we knew that with the (people) loving God, God works-together everything into good, with the (people) being called according to purpose.

In these verses Paul explains that…
·       with the people who are loving God (Godly-loving Him; Greek verb agapao),
o   God works-together (God is doing work, producing effects in conjunction with those who love Him with His kind of love; we are co-workers; God is jointly expending energy together with the people loving Him, regarding)
§  everything (all – the object being worked is every single thing that God and those who love Him are working together – this is not referring to anything else that we are not working together)
§  into good (for the purpose of, with a view to, directed to and resulting in that-which is good, a good-thing, that-which issues from God; God is the One Who issues His goodness and He sets the standard for what is good and to be conformed to by those who love Him),
·       emphatically and specifically with the people who are being called (invited people, those given the invitation, the invitees)

o   according to purpose (in accordance, conformity, and proportion to/with God’s proposal, what God purposed beforehand, that-which He put or set before Himself to do in advance of it actually occurring, His plan).

Mark 4:13-20

And he says to them, "You did not know this parable - and how will you know all the parables? The sower sows the word; but these are the (people) beside the way where the word is sown, and whenever they may hear immediately satan comes and lifts the word, the (word) having been sown into them; and these are the (people) on the rocky-places being sown, the (people) whenever they may hear the word immediately with joy they receive it and they do not have a root in them but they are temporary, then (after) pressure or persecution having come-to-pass because-of the word immediately they are caused-offense; and others are the (people) being sown into the thorns, these are the (people) having heard the word and the anxieties of the age and the deceit of the wealth and the intense-yearnings concerning the remaining-things journeying-into (them) strangle-together the word and becomes fruitless; and these are the (people) on the earth, the beautiful (earth), having been sown, the-people-who hear the word and accept (it) and bear-fruit one thirty and one sixty and one hundred."

Acts 6:8-10 - Stephen full of grace and ability

And Stephen, full of grace and ability, did great wonders and signs among the people. But some of the (people) out-from the synagogue, the (synagogue) being said (as) Libertines stood-up, and Cyrenians and Alexandrians and of the (people) from Cilicia and Asia, disputing-together with Stephen, and they were not strong to stand-against the wisdom and the spirit by-which he uttered-forth. Stephen was carrying-out the function of service that had been assigned to him.

First Peter 3:14-16

But if also you may suffer because-of righteousness (you are) happy-people, but let you not be caused-to-fear their fear neither be disturbed but you must make-holy the Christ (who is) Lord in your hearts. (You must be) prepared-people always towards a defense to every-person asking you a word concerning the hope in you but with meekness and fear having good conscience in order that in that-which you are slandered they may be brought-down-to-shame, the (people) maligning your good behavior in Christ.

John 1:1-5 - in the beginning was the word...

In (the) beginning was the word, and the word was towards God, and the word was God - this (word) was in (the) beginning towards God; all-things came-to-pass by means of it, and without it not one-thing came-to-pass which came-to-pass; in it was life, and the life was the light of the men, and the light shines-light in the darkness - and the darkness did not take-hold-of it. Initially there was the spoken account of God's inner thoughts during a past time, historically. It was not at the beginning of the world – but the focus in this phrase is that at the outset (commencement, source, origin, start) there was continuing to exist the word of/from God.

Acts 2:4 - gift of holy spirit

They were all filled of holy spirit, and they began to utter-forth with different tongues according as the spirit gave to them (the words) to precisely-speak-out. The holy spirit gave to them the words to precisely speak out (the clear utterance of words to speak aloud), and the apostles knew to speak with their own physical tongue and mouth and throat in order to express in the physical realm what the spirit within each one of them wanted them to speak. They did not understand the words they were saying but they knew that they were speaking supernaturally because the spirit within each one of them was what was giving them the words to speak, not their fleshy, intellectual minds. This was supernatural!

Romans 8:31-34

Therefore what will we say towards these-things? Since God (is) on behalf of us, who (is) against us? He-Who indeed did not spare (His) own son but He gave him over on behalf of all of us, how will He not also grace to us all-things together with him? Who will arraign against (the) selected-people of God? God (is) the (One) making-righteous. Who (is) the (one who) will be condemning? But unitedly Christ (is) the (one) having died but rather having been raised-up, who also is in (the) right-side of God, who also intercedes on behalf of us.

Matthew 8:14 and 15 - Jesus heals Peter's mother-in-law

And Jesus having come into the house of Peter saw his mother-in-law having been thrown and having-a-fever, and he touched her hand and the fever left her and she was raised-up and she used-to minister to him. In this record we read that when Jesus had come into Peter's house he perceived Peter's wife's mother having been thrown and feverish. Then Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her and she was raised-up from where she was lying. Then she spent time serving to benefit Jesus, she was doing work to bring him profit, taking care of him as regards what he needed at that time.

Luke 24:4-7 - Angels announce Jesus’ resurrection

This record in the book of Luke provides events that occurred early in the morning on the Sunday after Jesus’ death and burial. Two angels like grown-men stood by the women in splendid, ornate clothing that was shining bright light. But after the women became fearful these 2 angels said towards the women, "Why are you looking for the one who is living (alive)in company and association with the dead-people (people who have already died and remain dead until the time of their resurrection when they will be judged and either receive eternal life or their second/final death being completely destroyed; refer to Revelation chapter 20)? He is not here (in the memorial) – but on the contrary, he was caused to rise up alive from being dead...."

Revelation 1:12-16

And I turned-back to observe the sound, the-one-which used-to utter-forth with me; and having turned-back I saw seven golden lamp-stands, and in (the) midst of the lamp-stands (there was one) like a son of man having clothed-himself-wiwth a long-robe and having girded a golden girdle towards the breasts, but his head and the hairs (were) white as white wool, as snow, and his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet like shining-copper as in a furnace having been set-on-fire, and his sound as a sound of many waters, and having in his right hand seven stars, and journeying-out from his mouth a sharp two-edged sword, and the sight of him as the sun shines-light in its ability.
